First off, we would like to thank the many people who provided us with constructive feedback on the draft document. I can say that we have spoken with over 30 individuals through the forums, private messages, Facebook, email, text, and phone and every single bit of their feedback was considered.
Like with anything else in life, not everyone will be happy with everything presented, but I can honestly say that this newer document (linked below) outlines a competition architecture that is not only an improvement over the original, but both safe and fair for all involved and should result in everyone being able to have fun!
If you or anyone you know is planning on or interested in running a speed event this season whether it's big, small, or somewhere in between and you'd like to become an MHSFA Contest Director, please contact me through private message and we'll start working towards that goal.
We'd like to get at least one grass-roots event set up as a pilot for the system this season. Of course there will still be the typical larger events, but this is all about the average pilot, so grass-roots is very important!
Thank you again for all of your help and we can't wait to run the course with you! - Justin
