MHSFA Membership Registration is Live!
March 20, 2017
Fellow speed freaks,
We are excited to announce that MHSFA membership registration is now open to all! This has been a long time coming and we appreciate everyone's support and patience.
As a general member, you will be given your own unique membership number, a membership card, and the ability to compete in the MHSFA competition circuit for official points and seasonal rankings. Competing in the circuit provides you with the opportunity to compare your performance against other MHSFA pilots and if you do well enough in your class, you may even be chosen to compete in an invitational event with bigger awards and more community visibility. We'll also maintain an online record of your competitions, points, and rankings for all to see!
Along side these benefits, you'll receive the membership newsletter where you'll find speed flying tech tips, an overview of events, and a look at what's new in the community and you'll have access to a growing number of speed experts in the community who can mentor you to higher skill levels and will put on speed seminars at an event near you! You may also have the opportunity to participate in a committee to help shape the future of the discipline!
We'll begin to process the membership cards once we have a few registrations under our belts so, hang tight and we'll let you know via Facebook, email, and the website when to expect them in the mail.
We're working hard this season to have grass-roots events across the US for new members to participate in, so stay tuned. If you are interested in working with us to put on an event in your area, then please contact us and we'll start the planning. Remember that any event officiated by MHSFA can be counted as points toward member rankings each season, so the size of the competition circuit is only limited by how much interest we can generate in the community!
We look forward to working together with you in the future to grow the speed discipline through a collective goal of consistency, fairness, and over all else, fun!
Sincerely, Justin, Santiago, and Ben Co-Founders, MHSFA Go faster...
